She is wearing white gloves and holding a black purse in her left hand. The man next to her is wearing a black suti with a black bowtie. He is also wearing a black coat and black shoes. There is a "1" written and circled on the back in blue ink.
Origin
The woman may be Catherine Cook Anagnost, who was a lawyer in Chicago. She immigrated from Greece when she was nine. She attended Northwestern University and the University of Illinois. She was former president of the Hellenic Bar Association.
