Object Description
Color photograph of a float in a parade. The float is yellow with some red and blue. The side of the float reads "Sheriff Dick Elrod." There are cardboard stars along the side with names on them, as well as a big golden star in the middle that reads "Sheriff Elrod." Behind this, there is a light blue cutout labelled as "Cook County" with an officer in a blue uniform standing. There are both Greek and American flags at the back of the float, with two women in black uniforms. the sign at the back of the float reads "Freedom and Justice." The back of the photo is numbered 911.

This photo was in the album labelled 2002.31.1.A and related to a Greek Parade in May of 1975.
