John C. Geocaris- Deputy Commissioner, Department of Streets and Sanitation (1975-83) for the City of Chicago.
Active in local Democratic politics, the late Mr. John Geocaris served as Precinct Camptain for the 47th Ward, City of Chicago and as Ward Secretary for Alderman Seymour Simon (40th Ward). He was elected Democratic Ward Committeeman in 1976 and went on to be elecvted as Delegate to the Democratic National Convention held in New York City that same year.
