Object Description
A black and white photo mounted onto a cardboard backing. The cardboard backing is grey with brownish lines. There are two lines, the outside one if thicker and the inside one is thinner. The photograph depicts The Pallas Candy Co building. The structure is quite large and reads "The Pallas Candy Co" on two walls. Telephone poles and wires run across near the roof. An American flag is flying from the corner of the building. A horse-drawn carriage is parked in front.
The script underneath reads "The, Pallas Candy Company's, "complete factory, located on the N.W. corner of Colorado and Mercury Streets...Butte.Montana, where none but the purest of products are manufactured, complying in every detail with the requirements of the pure food law.....Established by Lukis Brothers........."
Origin
This photograph was donated by Constantinos Lukis. The pictures are fom his father's buisness, The Pallas Candy Company. This picture shows the building in which they operated their business. Located on the N.W. corner of Colorado and Mercury Streets in Butte, Montana.
