Object Description
A black and white photo mounted onto a cardboard backing. The cardboard backing is grey with brownish lines. There are two lines, the outside one if thicker and the inside one is thinner. The photograph depicts The Pallas Candy Company's float. It is pulled by two horses at the front. An American flag leads the float which is a large structure will a roof and pillars. The float is decorated with flowers. One man and two women are standing on the float. The banner reads "Pallas The Home of Purity and Quality". There are people standing behind the float. The print underneath the photo reads "The Pallas Candy Company's2, float, which participated in the 4'th. of July, celebration held in Butte...1911..Designed and completed".
Origin
This photograph was donated by Constantinos Lukis. The pictures are fom his father's buisness, The Pallas Candy Company. This picture shows their float in the Fourth of July parade.
