Queen of the Court, 1964

In the earlier days of the NHIBT, there would be a Queen of the Court. Pictured in this photo is the young woman chosen as the Queen in 1964

The NHIBT was, from it's beginning, more than just a tournament. It was a social phenomenon for Greek Americans to assimilate into American life through the up and coming sport of basketball. Now, it has turned into a way for Greek Americans to keep their ethnic ties.
