8" x 10" black and white photograph of first Chicago Greek Independance Parade. View north, down State Street. First float of parade visable, Greek-American theme with Greek queen and Statue of Liberty. Float proceeds the Parade marshall and other leaders, including Mayor Richard J. Daley and Archbishop lakovas. Two ink stamps labelling photographer name and press photo service.
Origin
photograph of first Chicago Greek Independance Parade, celebrating the Greek Declaration of Independance of 1821. This is the first float of the parade that proceeded the group of leaders and parade marshall.
