The photograph has a white border around the actual picture. The background of the picture is unknown, but seems to have a blank wall at the top, and a vertically striped wall 3/4 of the way down the wall. At the top of the photo, on the portion of the blank wall is printed in white text, "P. Getimis Music Club". There are three rows of people. The top row of people is comprised of 4 males all in dark suits and ties. THe second row is comprised of one male and 7 females. The male wears a dark suit while the women wear lighter dresses. The third and final row is comprised of 7 females/young girls, 2 young boys, and an older gentleman, presumed to be Peter Getimis, the piano teacher. The two young boys wear dark jackets, the females/young girls wear light dresses, while the teacher wear a white/light colored suit and wears glasses.

At the bottom of the photograph are three stips of white tape with the text, (1) PETER GETIMIS, (2) PIANO TEACHER, (3) 1937(?)

The back of the photo has a printed stamp that reads, "Stewart Studio, 3540 Parnell Avenue, BOUlevard 6364, Chicago". At the bottom in blue pencial is writte, "Donor, Dena Colonos, (312) 561-6302, 5455 N. Sheridan, Chicago, IL 6040".

Peter Getimis was a prominent Professor of Music in the 1920's - (?).
