Object Description
This is a black and white photo of a one-story brick building on the corner of 71st and State Street. It is a large brick building with at least two businesses in it. The storefronts have awnings and the windows are filled with signage. On the back of the photo is written "Corner 71st and State the meca for Greek merchants & buyers".
Origin
Ted Contes was the owner of Ted's Liquor Store, which was located on 71st and State St. in Chicago.
