Object Description
A black and white newspaper clipping with a picture of John G. Thevos reciving an award from B.G. Vitsaxis with a short description of Thevos' acheivements. The top of the page has a descrption of the article and at the bottom is a personal note and signature from Harry B. Haines.
Origin
Donated by Aphrodite Thevos Tsairis. This is a collection of photos from John G. Thevos' life. A clipping of the Paterson Evening Press article about John G. Thevos' receiving The Cross of the Order of Phoenix from B.G. Vitsaxis. The newspaper clipping comes with a short note from Harry B. Haines saying "It could not have happened to a finer or more deserving person". Febuary 9, 1962.
