Object Description
A black and white, close-up photograph of John G. Thevos in the Phanar in Constantinople. Thevos is wearing a black cloak and a medal and holding a lit candle. The photograph is in good quality. The photograph was taken 1/26/1965.
Origin
Donated by Aphrodite Thevos Tsairis. This is a collection of photos of John G. Thevos at the Phanar, Constantinople, Istanbul, Turkey being conferred the highest lay title of Archon Megas Protertikos by His Holiness Patriarch Athenagoras. All photographs were taken on 1/26/1965.
