Object Description
A black and white full-body photograph of John G. Thevos in a black cloak holding a lit candle, wearing a medal in the Phanar in Istnabul. The photo is in good shape but a little yellowed. Taken in 1965.
Origin
Donated by Aphrodite Thevos Tsairis. This is a collection of photos of John G. Thevos at the Phanar, Constantinople, Istanbul, Turkey being conferred the highest lay title of Archon Megas Protertikos by His Holiness Patriarch Athenagoras. All photos were taken on 1/26/1965.
