Object Description
A black and white photograph of two older woman. Both woman are dress in all black and wear glasses. They are pictured outside. The older of the two women sits in front og the other. They are in front of a large rock and a tree.
Origin
Helen Grenus donated a photo of her aunts, her aunts made a quilt which she donated to the Hellenic Museum.

Both aunts lived to be 100. They made the wool red spread that was donated. They spun the wool, dyed it red and sewed the flowers on. They lived in Crete. They gave the spread to her father when he visited Crete in 1955. He was there to visit his father, Basil, who was 106 in 1954. Mike Pappas, her father, moved to illinois as a young man. He was born 1-16-1892 and died in March 1975. he married Mary Klakowish in 1923.
