Object Description
A black and white family portrait. The photograph has a man, a woman, two young girls, and a baby. The man and woman are seated, the man wearing a dark suit, and the woman wearing a dark dress. The two young girls are wearing light colored lace detailed dresses with bows in their hair. The baby is wearing a white one piece.
Origin
Photo donated by Victoria Dalber Manos and Anthe Dalber Hart. The photograph is a family portrait from when the two women were very young. It shows their mother, father, and sister. It was taken in Chicago in 1916.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dalber (Dilberakis) were married in Chicago 1904. The donor's grandfather was inspired to visit America in 1885 after he reading many books. He came to Chicago. After returning to Greece, he convinced the donor's grandmother to make Chicago their new home.
