Object Description
A black and white portrait of an older man. The portrait is from his head to his chest. He is wearing glasses and is balding. The individual is wearing a black suit, a white collared shirt, and a patterned tie. The background is pleated curtains.
Origin
Photos donated by Hamal Hrisoula. This photograph is of his uncle, Christ Ladis.

Chris Ladis loved from September 30th, 1893 through December 11th, 1979. He became a U.S. citizen on November 2nd, 1918, and was inducted into service for WWI on JUly 24th, 1918. He was discharged from service March 12th, 1919. He was a corporal in the Medical Department as a Motor Ambulance Chauffer.

Chris resided in Canaryville since he arrived in Chicago from Turkey.
