Object Description
View of part of the exterior of the USS Willis, commanded by Lieutenant George P. Sotos, after a few days in a North Atlantic blizzard. The ice had to be promptly removed because it could destabilize the ship.
Origin
The photo was donated by Capt. George P. Sotos of USN. George also commanded the ship USS Willis where this photo was taken. Circa 1943-1946.
