Black and white photograph of Commander George P. Sotos taking command of the nine Destroyer Escort ships of Escort Squadron 51 operating out of Pearl Harbor. Commander Sotos standing at podium addressing sailors and crew.
Origin
Donated by USN Capt. George P Sotos. Sotos ships participated in the Mid-Pacific early warning barrier 1958-1960.
