Object Description
Colored photo of the Installation of Flags at US Navy Memorial in Ste. Marie du Mont, Normandy, France. There are four flags three American and one French. The flags are surrounded by a memorial filled with flowers and brushes.
Origin
Donated by Angelos Chatas. He attended the installation of flags at the US Navy Memorial site in Ste. Marie du Mont in Normandy, France. The ceremony was held on June 6, 1997. Chatas had served there during WWII.
