Rose Dalianis gave a recipe to a man named Brad, who was the publisher of the Greektown Chicago book/cookbook in 2005. When the book was completed, Brad forwarded pictures from the people who donated recipes to the National Hellenic Museum. Rose then agreed to donating the photos.

Rose's parents were both Greek, but were born in Turkey. This photograph is of Rose as a young girl.
