Object Description
Sepia photo of a a group at the Fraternity Vervenon Picnic at Plakakis Picnic Grove. The picnic grove is located at Southeast Corner of Irving Park and River Road Schiller Park, IL. The picture looks to be taken during summer. Its of three men, two women, and three children. Two of the men are sitting in chairs, one man is standing on the left. Both women are standing, one with her hand on a mans shoulder and the other on one of the children. The other women standing is holding the hand of one of the children.
Origin
Donated by Gus Barkoulies. The photo was taken at the Fraternity Vervenon Picnic at Plakakis Picnic Grove in Schiller Park, IL. This picture is a photocopy but the picnic happened in 1924.
