On the table is a large sheet cake and a bouquet of flowers on it. The men on the right and left are wearing light-suits, while the two men in the middle are wearing chef outfits. The women behind them are wearing waitress uniforms. Writing in icing on the cake is "TOPIC CAFE 20th ANNIVERSARY". On either side of the cake are duck shape planter with flowers in them. Next to the table is another, smaller table with a white three-tiered cake on it. At the left is a counter with three stools, and there are more flowers are the counter. To the right are booths against the wall, and there are even more flowers on top of the booths. There is artwork on the walls, and there are four simple light fixtures hanging from the ceiling.

This photograph was taken at the 20th anniversay celebration for the Topic Cafe in Emporia, Kansas. It is not clear what year this photo was taken, but it was likely in the early 1900s. Further information, such as the identities of the people in the picture and whether the Topic Cafe is still in business, is unknown.
