Object Description
5 men cheering on boxing tournament. William "Billy Goat' Sianis seated at far left.

Sianis, owner of Billy Goat Tavern, bought a ticket for him and his goat to game four of the 1945 World Series at Wrigley Field between the Cubs and the Tigers. Sianis' goat was not allowed in the stadium because of its odor. The Cubs lost the 1945 World Series and have not made it back since. This "so-called" curse emerged when Sianis' wrote the owner of the Cubs "Who stinks now?"
