Object Description
Formal portrait of George Garikes in WWI Military attire. George is sitting in a chair with his legs crossed. One hand is resting on his leg and the other is resting on the chair.
Origin
Donated by Arthur Garikes. George Garikes was father of donor. He was a private, 4th Company, 1st Bn, 160th Depot Brigade, US Army. Later, George was a candlemaker and owned E Melissa at 616 Blue Island Avenue, Chicago, IL. Circa 1918.
