Object Description
Formal portrait of members of "The Phalanx" in unidentified hotel?. The men are lined in four rows, top two are standing, second row is kneeling, and the first row is sitting. They are all dressed in their uniforms.
Origin
Donated by Judge James Zafiratos. Veterans of Greek Wars (Greeks in America who had returned to Greece to fight in wars that Greece was engaged in. Balkan War, WWI, etc. The group was known as "The Phalanx". Circa 1940-1949.
