Object Description
Black and white photograph of the interior of The Annunciation Cathedral.  This photo was taken from the center aisle and features the Epitaphios and a priest in a black cassock.  The iconostas, or wall made up of large icons, creates the backdrop for this photo.  The Epitaphios, a beautifully carved bier topped with a gazebo-like canopy, takes up most of the photo.  It is adorned with a magnificently large spray of fresh flowers and a cross.  The priest is standing in front and to the right giving full view of the Epitaphios.  A tall square wooden post topped with a cross is seen in the very front on the far right of the photograph.
