Object Description
Drawing (print) of Hull-House as it looked in 1910 Image is a reproduction of a drawing of the Hull-House run by Jane Addams. The picture shows a large building and a sidewalk and street in front with a number of pedestrians. The street has line marks in it, perhaps from carriage tire marks in a dirt street. In the distance on the right hand side there is the roof of a building with a cross on it.
Origin
Hull-House was the center of the Greek communtiy in Old Greektown at Halsted and Polk Streets. The Greeks were the largest ethnic group served by Hull-House and participated in all of the programs sponsored by the settlement house.
