Object Description
A black and white photograph depicting a statue (?) in a open area. There are trees, a wall, and a building in the background.
Origin
From donor: Karpenisi. Another view of the Markos Botsaris Square, which shows the bust of a hero. On the wall in the background is an inscription "I Ellas Den Petheni" (Greece will not die), the first line of a song created during the Axis war and occupation of Greece. I failed to check the date of this inscription.
