Object Description
A black and white photograph depicting a person carrying wood (?) on their back. The person is standing in a rural area with trees in the background.
Origin
From donor: The road back from Karpenisi to Agrinion. Picture shows a village women bringing home the wood for her kooking. Cutting of trees is refrained by tradition, so the villagers collect the bush. She looks at the camera wondering with a smile why I am taking her picture! She asked no question but had an understanding attitude.
