Object Description
A newspaper page of an article typed with black ink and written in Greek is collaged onto a manila page and other clippings to create a book. On the upper left-hand corner in Greek are the words "ΔΕKΜΒΡΙΟΣ, 1920" (English translation: December 1920). To the left of the date, located in the center, are the words "ΜΗΝΙΑΙΟΣ ΕΙΚΟΝΟΓΡΑΦΗΜΈΝΟΣ ΕΘΝΙΚΌΣ ΚΉΡΥΞ" (English translation: Monthly Illustrated National Journal.) Underneath the date and the newspaper publication is the article's title, which reads, "H EN AMEPIKH EΛΛHNIKH EKθEΣIΣ" (English translation: The American Greek Exhibition.) Located in the center of the newspaper page is a black and white photograph of an individual, assumable Mrs. Maria Economidy, dressed in a Greek costume and seated on a clothed platform with a chair placed behind in the background. Additional text is below the image, the text reads "Η Κα ΜΑΡIKΑ ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΊΔΟΥ (English translation: Ms. Maria Maria S. Economidou), and Σiς ήν οφείλεται μεγά μέρος της επιτυχίας της Ελληνικής εv 'Αμερική 'Ελληνικής Έκθεσης" (English translation: A large part of the success of the Hellenic Exhibition in America is due to her.)
