Object Description
A typed letter in English, written with black ink on unadorned, nearly transparent paper. Faded text from another document is visible behind the page. Near the left corner of the letter, there are scribbled-out numbers, with only the number 25 left untouched. In the center, near the top, the date reads "October 12, 1925." Underneath the date, on the left-hand side, is the recipient information as follows: "Honorable James A. Donegan, Clerk of the Supreme Court, County Clerk's Office, County of New York, New County Court House, New York City, N.Y." In the middle of the letter is the title "Re: C/N 79791." Below the title are two paragraphs comprising the body of the letter. The complimentary close reads, "Very truly yours, H. Economidys, Asst. Secretary-Comptroller."
