Object Description
A typed letter from the Veterans Administration and addressed to Mr. H. Economidy, 2402 Boulevard Galveston, Texas. The letter is written in English and broken into two short paragraphs. Located at the top, center page, is the letter's header reading, "Veterans Administration Washing 25, D.C. Dated December 21, 1945." In the top left corner is the Veterans Administration seal, stamped in blue ink. While, in the top right corner is a stamp with an image of a solider holding a rifle with text to the right reading, "For victory Buy United States War Bonds and Stamps." Underneith the stamp is the referral, "Your file reference: (empty space) in reply refer to: MBAB-8-9 Economidy, Byron G. XC-3, 952,738." The letter is signed off by R.J. Hinton, Director, Dependent and Beneficiaries Claims Services.
