Object Description
A type letter written in Greek with black ink. In the top center is a logo of a crown with text that translates, "Under the Honorable President of this King's Majesty." Underneith the header is additional text reading, "Institute for Utilization of Wealth Productive Resources of Greece," with a address and dates which reads, "Mount Sultan 12, Telephone 23-724-Athens. Athens on November 22, 1950. No. Original. The numbers 432 is written in blue-green pen." To the left of the letter are two columns. The first column, with the text above the column translates to "Honorary committee" has a numeral list of 15, assumed, names of people with assumed titles/occupations listed below. The second, is a small column located near the bottom, the text translate to, "Establish under" with the names of about 12 individuals with assumed titles/occupations listed below. The letter, located in the center translates, "Mrs. Maria Economidou. Honorable Madam, We have the honor to announce that following the proposal of the competent Committee of our institute for the awarding of Ethical Awards to Creative Greek works for greatness of our motherland, the Board of Directors has approved the award to you as well of the Double Eye Creative Activity after Gold medal in recognition of both works. Congratulating you on your honor." The bottom of the letter is stamp with two seals and has a a paragraph of text enclosed in a box. The two seals, a blue circular seal located on the bottom left, and a rectangular blue seal with text and a signature located on the bottom right.
