Object Description
A black and white photograph of three formal dressed individuals standing within a presumed church space. Located to the far-right-hand-side is the portfolio of a standing individual dressed in a black suit. In the middle are three posing individuals. The figure to the central-left is dressed in a white tuxedo with a bow tie. The middle figure is seen wearing a sweater, a button dress, with heeled shoes and a hat. To the right is another individual they are dressed in heeled strapped shoes, a pattern dress, and a hat. To the far right is a individual seated at a table wearing a black dress. Located on the back is cursive writing in blue pen which reads, "John Papangelis' Wedding 1960." Above the blue penmanship is blank printing which reads, "A24799." At the bottom is a red stamp with the words "Candids by Danis Studio 5908, W. Madison St. Chicago 44, Il. Phone COlumbus 1-6191."
Origin
The photograph is owned by the Powers family and connected to other photographs and physical items from the same collection. The photograph of George Powers (left), Mary Powers (middle), Bessie Powers (right), dated 1960.
