Object Description
A colored photograph of a posing individual seated on a light brown sofa. The individual is dressed in a dark gray suit, gray button sweater, with a patterned necktie, a decorative pin on the collar of the suit jacket, and a pair of black framed glasses. Connected to the photograph is a creamed colored business card with the black printing which reads, "Museum 4-8977, Louis G. Kokinis, Queen Mary Candies, 1102 East 63rd street Chicago 37, Illinois."
Origin
The photograph belongs to the Powers family and is part of a collection of items and photos. The photograph is a portrait of George Kokinis, one of the founding fathers of Holy Trinity Church, and is dated circa 1960. The business card, which dates back to the early 1950s, was for Louis Kokinis, the owner of Queen Mary Candies.
