Object Description
A red tinted photograph of an individual playing with a young child in the living room of a house. The individual located in the center is dressed in a blouse with flowers placed at the neckline, a pair of glasses, and earrings. The central figure can be seen holing a smiling child who is dressed in a long sleeve shirt and overalls. In the background is a fireplace with a landscape painting hung above, small knickĀ·knacks (pictures and figurines) places on the mantel and two chair located to the side of the fireplace.
Origin
The photograph is owned by the Powers family and is connected to other items and photographs from the same collection. The picture, taken in 1956, depicts Georgia (Powers) Kokinis playing with George Boles. Georgia (Powers) Kokinis is George Boles' aunt and can be seen on the right side of the photograph, while George Boles is on the left.
