Object Description
A black and white photograph of three individuals, two adults and one baby, standing within a room of a building. To the left is a individual dressed in a jacket with pin, perhaps a baptism pin, pinned to the right of the jacket, a patterned skirt, and loafers. In the middle is a baby seated in a stroller and can be seen wearing a white cap with matching robes. To the far right is an individual bent over, with their hand placed on the stroller. They can be seen wearing a black dress, heeled shoes, and a hat. Under the image is the printed text that reads, "Johnny Katsis' Baptism- 1954? Yiayia, Johnny, Jane."
Origin
The Powers family owns the photograph which is associated with other items and pictures from the collection. The image captures the baptism of John Katsis' which took place in 1955. In the photo, from left to right, are Mary Powers, John Katsis, and Jane Katsis.
