Object Description
A black and white photograph of four formally dressed individuals with people standing about in the background. The figure to the right is wearing a patterned dress with a broach placed in the center, a pair of flora earrings and a head piece. In the central left-hand-side is an individual wearing a solid color dresses with a high neck collar and a pair of glasses. In the middle is a person dressed in a solid color dress with an embroidered collar, a pair of hooped earrings, and a head piece. To the right is an individual dressed in a solid color dress, glasses, a necklace with matching earrings.
Origin
The Powers family owns the photograph which is associated with other items and pictures from the collection. The image captures the wedding of James and Josephine Poulos, which took place in 1955. In the picture, from left to right, we can see Georgia (Powers) Kokinis, Victoria Katsis, Bessie Powers, and Katherine Katsis.
