Object Description
A black and white framed photograph of 31 individuals seated inside of a classroom holding their diplomas. The students appear to be 12 years old and are all dressed up in coordinating outfits with their ribbons pin to their clothing. Written in white pen is the words "Dore School, June class, 1930" seen on the top left-hand-side. In legible printing are the words "Photo By. M.O Grantar Studio 930 Blue Island Ave. Chicago. ILL. Towards the bottom of the photograph are the words "Dore School" printed in black ink with the list of the student's names printed in matching ink.
Origin
The photograph is owned by the Powers family and is connected to other items and photographs from the same collection. This is a photograph of Dore School graduates of 1930. John Powers is in the second row, fourth to the left.
