Object Description
A round golden medallion with a metal loop attached at the top meant to service as a access point for a chain or string to be strong through. The font of the medallion has an image of Christ with semi-legible words circling Christ. The words read "Cor Jesu Redemptor Mundi." The back shows an image of two figures, presumably baby Christ being held by the Virgin Mary, surrounding the two are semi-legible words which reads "ORA PRO NOBIS."
Origin
The object is owned by the Powers family and is connected to other items and photographs within the same collection. The object is a Cor Jesu Redemptor Mundi-Virgo Carmeli Ora Pro Nobis medallion with a Latin inscription that translates to "Jesus Christ is man's only Redeemer." And "Our Lady of Mt Carmel (the Virgin Mary) pray for me."
