Origin
This medal was bestowed upon Harry Costopoulos for his service to the Greek military during the First Balkan War, which took place between October 1912 and May 1913. During the war, the Kingdoms of Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Montenegro together fought against the Ottoman Empire.
