Object Description
A landscape photograph of a possible monument with a group of tourists located at the bottom left-hand corner. The statue appears to be extending its arm upwards with a finger pointed toward the sky and is surrounded by three sculptures of seated figures positioned at the statue's base. On the bottom left-hand corner are the heads of tourists and their green and white hooded bus that has a sign which reads Vanderbilt Tour.

A photograph of the Plymouth National Monument to the Forefather, formally known as the Pilgrim Monument. The Plymouth National Monument commemorates the Mayflower Pilgrims. The monument was dedicated on August 1, 1889, and is located in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Photograph owned by the Franzese family. Connected to other photographs from the same New England 1959 collection.
