Also included two obituaries. Top obituary on paper reads "Infant Vanis. Portsmouth- (Special)- The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. George Vanis, 1120 Eighth Street, died today in Mercy Hospital. He is survived also by three sisters, Katherine, Helen, and Effie Vanis. Burial will be Monday Morning in Greenlawn Cemetery." Bottom obituary on paper reads "Infant Vanis. A son of Mr. and Mrs. George Vanis, 1120 Eighth St, who died shortly after birth at Mercy Hospital, was buried this morning in Greenlawn Cemetery. Burial was under direction of Emrick funeral home. Surviving besides the parents are three sisters, Katherine, Helen, and Effie." Also included is a handwritten note reading "Jan. 24 1944 Born dead Brother"
