Object Description
5th c BC Attic vase.
Lip broken off as seperate piece.

Ceremaic vase, probably used for holding oil. Color is tan with black figures painted on. The scene is what seems to be animals, only painted on 3/4 of the vase. This style of vase is called a Lekythos and are most often found in the tombs of women. Just before the neck, are geometric patterns. The handle is small and at the neck, which had a tag on it.
