Object Description
Heavy wool jacket used by Stafford James Machas in WWII. Machas was a Private FIrst Class and served in the 7th Armored Division of the Army. He also served at the Battle of the Bulge when the Nazis surrendered.

Coat has size brass buttons a patch on each shoulder for the 7th Armored Division (left shoulder) and the 2nd Infantry Division (right shoulder). Inside collar stamped with 38 - R and G0457 which was crossed out at one with a marker or pen.
