Object Description
Round reddish-orange button about two inches in diameter. At the top, "No man is an island" is printed in black across three lines.  The middle of the button features a sketch of an island in black with a label that says "Cyprus" across its middle.  In a single line, around the bottom edge of the button, "Help refugees of Cyprus" is printed in black writing.
Origin
In 1974, Turkey invaded northern Cyprus and Greek residents were forced to flee the conflict. Turkish Cypriots declated the independence of northern Cyprus. The Greek Cypriot government organized aid and housing for the displaced, and there have been several demonstrations advocating for the return of Greek Cypriot property.
