Object Description
Silver metal buttonhook. The top is a large flat ring which reads "Standard Spats". Attached is a long hook to use to button the buttons on the spats (1996.21.A-B).
Origin
"Standard" Spats was a brand name under the company S. Rauh & Company which was located in New York. S. Rauh & Company opened sometime before 1890. There is no further information on this company.
