Object Description
Wheel shaped ballot replica made of metal with two solid axels. Written in Greek translates to "Public Vote".
Origin
This ballot ticket was solid which symbolized a vote for the defendant. Each juryman on leaving the courtroom dropped which he wished to count in a bronze urn, the other in a wooden urn. He kept his vote secret by pressing the ends of the axels with his finger tips. This item is a replica of what would have been used in Greek democracy.
