Object Description
Red plaid women's vraka with a drawstring waistband and drawstring ankles. It is a huge amount of fabric, but meant to puff out when worn.
Origin
The Vraka is a Greek pantaloon worn by ladies when they picked olives. This one was worn by Thea Sultana Pazianos Papadeli. It was woven and made by her in Plagia, Lesbos about 1925.
