Brown plastic faux-leather photo album. On the spine there are six three-line bands printed horizontally in gold. There is a floral design printed in gold between the bands on both ends and in the center. Handwritten in gold paint above the center floret is the Roman numeral I. Inside there are 32 3x5 photographs from the retirement party of George Thodos in plastic photo slots that are attached overlapping each other vertically on the two sides of the album cover.
This came in a brown plastic faux-leather and cardboard case that contained two other volumes from the same party. On the front of the case is handwritten in gold paint "Retirement Party, George Thodos, Friday, June 6, 1986"
Photographs taken at George Thodos' retirement party from the faculty of Northwestern University on June 6, 1986.
