Membership badge.  Under the hanging framed portion, in gold stitching are the words "Hellenic Brotherhood 'Messenia'" each of the words are set above the other. Under this, also in gold stitches, is two hands in a handshake. Under is, more gold, reads "Established. March 3rd, 1918. Chicago ILL." done in three lines. At the end of the barge are gold tassels. The back side is all black with the same writing and handshake stitching as the front, but done in silver. Also like the front there are tassels, but these are too in silver. Hellenic Brotherhood "Messenia" was founded in 1918.
